Since then the agreement has been broken or your bike can be reprogrammed to eliminate the speed limiter. Vincent Black Shadow was the fastest motorcycle in the world from 1948 until 1972. Yes the bikes today are faster but they are not the fastest for that long time. Vincent went bankrupted in 1955.
