10 Ship Collisions and Mistakes Caught On Camera

These ship collisions make my head spin. The fact that these actually happened makes my skin have goosebumps all over the place. The BEKS should have never tried to pass that close. As you said to begin with the smaller ship was pitted. The BEKS rammed the stern and its weight and impetus push the other ship around. The thumbnail appears to be from a ship salvaging video. It shows older and no longer used cruise ships as well as others being dismantled for scrap. Quite a good one to watch. Those big ships now are all banned from the Grand Canal in Venice due to the collision shown in number 8. So something good came of it! Good to see most of those crashes again. It is not cast iron ore - just iron ore. It is one of the ingredients to make cast iron and then steel. Funny how just about everyone assumes that the Captain is literally at the helm, driving the ship and not a crew member taking orders. It's not always the Captain that saves the ship, I ought to know I saved two ships as the helmsman and I'm not even an Officer of a ship.
