5 Most Expensive Cruise Ship Disasters

Hello; On the Concordia the elevators stalled and everyone trapped in an elevator was there through the capsize and sinking.  Imagine living through the trapped in an elevator experience only to have it lay on its side and flood.  Other people who were handicapped lost their lives sitting at lifeboat muster stations.  The sinking was in many ways worse than Titanic and a movie should be made on it. At 7:00 I like how he doesn’t even explain how the water got in the Oceanos. I believe the pipe connected to one of her ballast tanks burst because of the waves. Usually the watertight doors would keep her afloat, but during the voyage passengers complained about a nasty smell coming from the ship. And so they removed a sewage pipe to try to fix the problem. Unfortunately water was able to get through this open pipe and flood the rest of the ship. So if you were wondering how the waves made her sink, here you go.
