They have supplied vehicles for a number of high-profile expeditions in the Arctic and Antarctic. That Rusak 39941 k-8 was really cool looking. The design is pretty much on par with just a giant SUV you see going through your neighborhoods driven by soccer moms. Just much larger and with 8 wheels. Very unique indeed. Russian were always weird looking to me ,but they do design great off-road utility vehicles, the MAZ 537 being one of my favorites.
