This lauch seems a lot more advanced and a lot safer than those launches where a few burly guys with hammers knock out pins and run out from under the steel launch. I expected the people on the bottom of the slope to get a good soaking once the ship dove into the lake, but surprisingly it was a smooth landing for her. Too bad the camera didn't show the people on the slope as she hit the water anyway. I did love the spool up sound of her engines as she was ready to sail immediately. It was a good day for all present. This is funny to me. Awesome that this came up when I searched for shipyard launch videos because I was curious to see what they look like when coming into the water.
