Hello; Impressive how fast machines can cut firewood! A tree needs a lot of co2, sun, chlorophyl and decades of time to grow and people can destroy this tree in some minutes. The big question is: is it necessary, in times of solar energy, geothermic, organic power and all those sustainable alternatives? I dont think so. I honestly cant imagine a more dangerous work environment. Literally saws going on all sides of you. I hope their pay reflects the hazards they endure. People don't do this much work without a reason. Most of us have wood furniture in our homes and many of us live in homes largely constructed of wood. I'm grateful the resource is available! I'm also grateful that trees grow again. It is truly a beautiful, functional and renewable resource.
