Hello; Jaws of life are hydraulically operated. The equipment showed was activated by an explosive charge such as a shotgun shell. I doubt that piece of equipment would ever be used to extricate someone from a car wreck. You wouldn't want to use it 2 inches away from somebody's face. At 3:33 a tire wash is installed on a construction site next door. It's indispensable on a busy street, otherwise the place would be a muddy mess. Nice video and very informative and very entertaining and very satisfaction.
