Just a little point I'd like to make (we pilots are sticklers for this ;) When a plane lands because of a concern due to a leaking fuel tank or a hatch open that shouldn't be or even the loss of one of its engines (if it has more than one) this is considered a precautionary landing not an emergency landing. An emergency landing is when a plane is coming down immediately with no chance of extending flight.
