I wonder what kind of generator you could power with this engine. Google says 300 horsepower = 220 kw, but that's an ideal conversion and not representative of real world efficiency losses. Still, you'd be able to generate waaaay more power than a domestic house would use. If you owned some forest land out in the boondocks somewhere with logging rights, you could run this continually, one tree at a time (replacing each chopped tree with a fast growing species like sitka spruce) and sell the excess to the grid. I always thought you could get so much more out of these if you could cool the exhaust side enough to produce vacuum!
