Crazy Skilled US Helicopter Pilot Performs Super Dangerous Mid-Air Refueling

Welcome back to our channel for a feature on the heavy hauler for the US Marine Corps, the Ch-53E Super Stallion, the largest helicopter in the US fleet, it is capable of carrying extremely heavy and bulky loads. That first hook they attach when doing a sling load is more than just something to stabilize it. Massive static charges build up under those rotor blades, and that hook grounds out the discharge harmlessly. Without that, you can literally get knocked on your butt. Awesome footage, especially the two helicopters refuelling while carrying a heavy load and the door gunner. The Super Stallion can carry a 26,000-pound Light Armored Vehicle, 16 tons of cargo 50 miles and back, or enough combat-loaded Marines to lead an assault. These types of flying vehicles are okay if you where born in the 60s. I'm sure glad to see future flyers and how they change.
