Ernest Shackleton’s Ship Endurance Found

Hello; The wreckage of polar explorer Ernest Shackleton’s ship Endurance, which was crushed by Antarctic ice and sank some 10000 feet (3,000 m) to the ocean floor more than a century ago, has been found using advanced underwater vehicles fitted with high-definition cameras and scanners. Stuff like this makes me wonder about how many not so famous boats like this one and the Titanic are there at the bottom of the ocean, especially ones that are in surprisingly good condition, that we miss because we don't look for them.  We often look for the boats that have big stories behind them. Either way, this is an amazing find.  That said, it might be one of the few boats without a lot of very valuable goodies inside of it if only because the group had weeks to get everything out they wanted. This is just remarkable.Understanding the sanctity of her resting place, it would still be amazing if was now possible to retrieve those film canisters that The Boss would not allow Frank Hurley to take along before the ship went down. This is a breathtaking achievement.
