Hello; My favourite jet fighter of all-time. I remember when I first saw it in a military book my grandfather gave me. I fell in love with it immediately. That red, white and blue colour scheme was enough to get me hooked for life. I still can't believe it's been around nearly 50 years. I'm still amazed at the fact that it's 1st flight was unplanned. I remember when Israel invaded Lebanon in the 1980s, and the Israelis were flying against the Syrians. The Israeli F-16s had a kill ratio at one point of approx 80-2. I think the F-16 when it came came out it had the highest power to weight ratio of any fighter of its day. I think you could conceivably launch one vertical like a rocket with no runway. I used to watch them fly out of Fort Smith all the time. Gorgeous color schemes and dramatic desert scenery just adds to this great video. Seeing the Raptor, Falcon and Eagle in very close proximity was very exciting to see. That's dominance!
