I love how technologies have change our life (still changing). The knowledge in this video will only spread when we personally visited the factory in the past like when we were kiddo in school trip, but now we get all these while having lunch. I worked in food manufacturing (maintenance). Wire-cut cookies (choc chip) type, rotary (Oreo) type & saltine crackers. Wonderful machinery. It depends on the type of dough, the system etc but many systems recycle the off cuts if possible. Most lines will be stopped and cleared for cleaning so that dough wont go round forever. If it cant be recycled it is considered as waste and disposed of. Many modern systems avoid waste as much as possible with more efficient cutting and moulding etc. But some is inevitable for some things like cookies etc. Say what you want about what's already been invented, but that juicer is the bomb, to me! Never had a juicer at home that can do that. Wish I had one like that. And Lord knows that plenty of juice is discarded in the shredded flesh of fruits/veggies. A real remedy to "Waste not, want not!" That's progressive thinking (of whoever invented this one)! Kudos to the inventor!
