Hello; Painful to think how much of this sort of wood was wasted in the past because there wasn't a market for it. We'll never see trees grow this big again. Too much loss of habitat, too much climate change, too much competition for land use. Those mill workers mostly were barefoot. Imagine the pile of hamburger one of those stumps would make out of one of their feet ! But I suppose they have no idea what safety is because they sure don't know about protective footwear that's for certain. These dudes just hate shoes or what? Fully dressed with no shoes, especially in a mill. The men in their village probably live to be 45 max. The guys that do get old probably have 17 hands and 9 legs between them.
