Hello; I love watching plow trains. Man the power. One video shows several engines pushing plow and it gets brought to a halt by the snow drifts. "Plow blades? Who needs those?" Reminds me of my favorite crash scene in Harrison Ford's movie "Fugitive ". In that movie they use old recommissioned diesel engines to actually derail and crash, for the most realistic footage. One diesel engine derails while going just under 40 mph, and the front end plows earth the way the one in this video plows snow. Snow, earth, doesn't matter to the momentum of something as heavy and solid as a nearly 200 ton freight engine. Thanks for compiling the shorts into a very decent video. In many parts of the world children at least had never seen snow so it's a wonderful insight.
