Hello; A 95 meters long and overall 592 tons heavy formation transported a 260 tons heavy transformer from Leer to a distribution station near Conneforde, Germany. For this, the High Girder Bridge of the Kahl Heavy Haulage corporation was applied. The transformer came by a barge on the Ems river. Moving a load like that is a real challenge. I agree that it could have been better planned, but. The collateral damage coulda been much worse had they had accidently hit infrastructure more vitally important such as a utility pole, fire hydrant or something like that.guess it was a catch 22 type deal.
