Grading the access road and the wind mill site is always a challenge. Trucks cannot turn tight curves and wind farms are usually among hilly areas. Bigger is not always better. Blade type wind farms are old style. So many new styles out that aren't as expensive or need as much maintenance. What a huge footprint! Could you imagine if just one of those hundreds of bolts sticking up were off a hair when your trying to line up tons of weight that one section of that tower is! The energy used to construct this monstrosity must have been enormous. Can’t imagine it is worth it especially as the thing doesn’t work when there is no wind. If there's an argument to choose solar over wind, this video captures it. Converting wind energy into electrical power is incredibly labor and resource intensive, requires many moving parts with associated maintenance, and is extremely complicated. Compare to solar: install panels, wire inverters & batteries, wash panels once or twice a year, replace in 20 years or so. Nevertheless, it was a fascinating video!
