I enjoyed making the smaller prototype tilt rotor actuators out of aluminum in california and was transferred to park city utah to manufacture the first units for flight out of titanium pancake forgings on a small maho mill. I thank my parents for allowing me to attend college where I mastered trigonometry during my year of calculus classes. This was done long before mastercam became available so producing complex geometry required real math.
