Just finished our second season with a C12F corn head. It’s a great head, and has some really nice improvements over the 712FC it replaced. Little bit better vision folded and the end shields don’t need put back down to fold the head. On the 712 I had to get out, clean debris out from where the shields slide in and out, and then get back in and fold. And get out again to put them back up. The integrated roll cones are nice too. I believe it folds faster too. These X9 combines are truly remarkable machines. I recently witnessed an X9 1000 equipped with a 12-row folding head, and it was a jaw-dropping spectacle. Grew up with a 6620 and 9400 combine. Videos like this are an absolutely jaw-dropping example of how much technology continues to advance without slowing down. Great video of how the farming industry is in Indiana! Those X9 1100 combines are no joke to say the least. The design team at John Deere knocked this out of the ballpark! You definitely better have extra grain carts and tractor and trailers to keep up with that BEAST! Very impressive machinery and video and have become a new subscriber of your channel! KABOOM and Cheers from Laurel, Delaware USA.
