Red Bull attempt to land an airplane on the world-famous helipad on top of the Burj Al Arab in Dubai. We give you an exclusive behind-the-scenes look into this crazy stunt. The helipad is only 27 meters long and the pilot required two years of intense training to complete the world's first attempt at a stunt of this magnitude. Mike Patey is an absolute legend. Shoulder to shoulder with aviation giants like Rutan, Kelly Johnson, Yeager, and Lindberg. Guy is incredible in the air, and the fact that he takes the time to document all his projects in insane detail for everyone makes him one of my personal engineering and aviation heros. In my opinion I think Luke deserves most of the credit because he knew he had a 50% chance of surviving and still did the stunt anyway. Thank you Supercar Blondie for this incredible video.
