Welcome back to the our channel for a new documentary video about the US Rockwell B-1B Lancer build by Rockwell International and Boeing. It took them 30 years but they finally found a role for this plane. It's mission was changed during development, after being built, after the Fall of the USSR and evolved due to the now public B2. But, in later years of the Afghan war, it turns out this thing is magnificent at close support. Turns out if you keep an airframe long enough, you will find a use. I saw this air craft make a training mission from Oklahoma to Loudon NH for a NASCAR race fly over with his escorts. You could hear them coming and at the end of the track they pulled the sticks back and went FULL throttle with the after burners glowing an up they went and the noise was awesome it shook the stands even all 40 cars going down the straigh away didn't even come close. Talk about shock and awe it made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I'll never forget that sight!
