Welcome back to the our channel for a discussion about aircraft carriers, including their history, capabilities, and more. Certainly a great step towards conquering ocean. Can't a permanent air base be constructed on ocean for emergency situation? Not bad for a mobile US base that can be positioned practically anywhere in the world. Compared to a stationary base in terms of value this cost is peanuts. It amazes me how there is always available cash for weapons. These Aircraft carriers are said to move at the speed of 700 miles in half hour (30 minutes) which means a 23 miles in a minute. Even a plane or the Concorde at their best time and performances could not do or perform it. The problem of homeless is not because the states or federal don't spend money, but It's because of the political games. We need air craft carriers so we can go to other countries and start and maintain wars that don’t concern us.
