Welcome back on the our channel for a discussion on the powerfull AH-1Z  a US helicopter built by Bell Helicopter. The Bell AH-1Z Viper is a twin-engine attack helicopter, based on the AH-1W SuperCobra, designed and produced by the American aerospace manufacturer Bell Helicopter. Being one of the latest members of the prolific Bell Huey family, it is also called "Zulu Cobra", based on the military phonetic alphabet pronunciation of its variant letter. Attack helicopters do what the fighter jocks don't want to do, support the ground troops, the only exception are the A-10s which is why the Air Force wants to get rid of them, but the Army wants them to stay. The UH-1N is the same as the RCAF CH-135 Griffin and the Bell 412 civilian helicopters. They're built at the Bell Helicopter plant just north of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Viper attack helicopter can be more lethal than Apache attack helicopter because it has 2 sidewinder missiles as air to air missiles, Apache attack helicopter don't have that.
