Few realise, but the ability of mountain goats to be able to climb such steep elevations comes down to the simple fact that they had evolved way before the invention of gravity. As such, they are not quite as limited by such earthly concepts. I ran into some mountain goats when I was rock climbing once and it was the most astonishing thing I've ever seen. I still don't understand how they got to where they were.
