Hello; These ships aren't "crashing", they're being beached intentionally for dismantling. These are not “crashing in” they are dry docking for dismantling after its final journey in Asia. The thing about running a big ship onto the beach for scrapping is there is no second chance, they are coming in under full power and with no ballast so they don't steer normally and they are slotting them into a very narrow gap. Nice jobs all 5 of them. I'd pay to go on that last ride, for posterity, history and a bit of a thrill - how often does a ship get intentionally beached? I love watching the people standing on shore, getting as close as possible to a behemoth beaching itself. Then running away from the ankle deep wave!
