US Delivering $350 Million Super Advanced Aircraft to Japan

Welcome back to our channel for a feature on the highly advanced early warning aircraft being operated by the US and sold to some other countries including Japan. When I was onboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt I had the chance to talk with the CO when I got CAPed (Command Advancement Program) and have dinner with him in the wardroom. It was part of the program. He was an aviator with over 10,000 hours in over 30 different aircraft. I asked him what he thought was the most important aircraft the carrier had. Without hesitation he said the E-2 Hawkeye was number one because without knowing where the enemy is, the shooters are worthless. Number two he said were the helicopter squadrons aboard. Because when the shooters get shot down, and they will in combat, getting them out of the water fast is the most important. Aircraft are easy to replace, trained aviators are not. And all the rest are tied for 3rd. That right there speaks volumes. USA is always so far ahead of these things but the one thing is Japan the whole country is like USA military base now. Japan is gonna be very strong soon very very strong. They went from jappan peaceful people. Too 3rd largest budget in military. I think they are making n Korea and china wake up if not they should. Japan needs to build up fast.
