US Gigantic C-17 Plane Takes Off at Full Throttle in Middle of the Desert

Welcome back to our channel for a feature on the ability of US Air Force transport aircraft to operate in most environment, this includes the ability to operate on austere desert runways. Those people got to see a show when they watched the C-17 Globemaster take off. That is a large and powerful airplane, and it is the newest in the cargo fleet, and can fly to anywhere in the world to deliver cargo, and personnel. What a great shot. This plane can go from stop to off the ground in 16 seconds, so wondering if the cold weather made it more difficult. The Wright brothers would've never dreamed of something so massive could get airborne, very impressive piece of aeronautical engineering. I flew in these a few times when I was in the military. They feel like a funnycar with the amount of power it has, you also need ear plugs inside also because its loud. Even when you are flying they can hit the throttle and it will throw you in the seat.
