I love videos of carrier flight operations. The flight deck of a carrier during flight operations is the most dangerous place in the military other then being under direct fire. It is a tribute to the young men and women that are in most cases only a few years removed from high school. Amazing super ship, it is breath taking; I am very proud to see the Red, White and Blue represented by the awesome power projected by this mammoth ship and US Navy as a whole. The logistics demonstrated is beyond comprehension, everyone and everything works together perfectly to make it all work right. Only the USA make and operate a ship like this. Overwhelmed with pride. I am very proud to have been the (AZ) AIMD IM-3 to establish the first aeronautical technical publications library on board. I was with her from the beginning, standing fire watches during her construction, manning the rail at her commissioning, shock trials, and then serving aboard for 4 years sailing the world. It was the greatest time of my life and am a better man for having served aboard her. Fair winds and following seas to the T.R and her crew.
