Are the colored asphalt areas bike lanes? Clever to color asphalt before laying. No way to wear off color like a surface treatment. Really like the tan color main road with red sides. Amazing how straight and clean the lines are between tan and red asphalt. Looks like sidewalks will be poured later. Paving of the race track in Austin Texas was amazing. They needed to insure a joint free installation. Even minor joints are big problem for race cars going 200 miles per hour. Contractor had enough equipment to spread and compact joint free. Continuous process while mix is hot came out fantastic. Vertical control was tightly maintained and is also very important on race track. No driver wants his car to be pulled left or right from joints. No driver wants to be launched into space because of uneven track. The fastest and cheapest don't make the best of anything. Halfassed construction performed by the lowest bidder. I'd rather pay a company that can perform the project with double the expected lifetime. I bet these companies don't perform free maintenance on their work.
