I Run the Smallest Rotary Wankel Engine in the World to see if it actually starts and runs then I try and hit the engine's Maximum Rpm, Engine is a Toyan RS-S100 Single Rotor Wankel Rotary Engine. Looks like you're also losing a bit of compression at the glow plug too. Could see oil bubbling from the seal. Very cool engine, can't wait to see what you do with it. Flooded at start up, melting plugs and exhaust fell off. Yes that definitely is a rotary. Surely not making any compression at low rpm. Lack of side seals and housing to rotor clearance allowing blow by. Love your work mate, great stuff, when you got it on a lower idle that lumpy rotor sound was identical to the road cars. While it's still nearly new you might want to measure up and machine a few rotor housings as spares, better apex seals will make it run much better but it will also wear out your housings faster. So most people don't know this but the the rotor spins at about 1/3 the speed and the crankshaft, often called an E-shaft. So it's less impressive when you think of that. But still that little dorito chip spinning at 10k RPMs is still awesome.
